Get SET (Skills, Education and Training) Program

The Ontario Get SET (Skills, Education and Training) program supports adults in building and strengthening essential skills, including communication, numeracy, interpersonal, and digital competencies, helping them move toward their personal and professional goals. Designed for individuals looking to transition into employment, post-secondary education, apprenticeships, or secondary school, or to gain greater independence, the program meets learners where they are. It also supports those who may be navigating a variety of barriers on their learning journey.

How You Can Learn

One-to-One Tutoring

You can work one-on-one with a tutor for 1–2 hours at a time, focusing on the skills you want to build. Sessions are personalized to your goals and designed to help you grow at your own pace, without the pressure of a classroom setting.

Small Group Learning & Workshops

We offer small group learning led by an instructor, where 6–8 participants learn together in a supportive setting. These sessions focus on practical life and work skills, often offering certifications to help you build real-world experience and move closer to your goals.

Independent Learning

Work independently by booking time in our computer lab and building your skills at your own pace. Staff or an instructor are available if you need support, but the focus is on giving you the space and tools to work through your goals on your own.
